June 15, 2024: Marion, IA 52302 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) and the visiting St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), witnessed Linn-Mar's softball squad tip St. Edmond by a count of 3-0.
The Lions now sport a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa City for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 18. Linn-Mar will meet a Little Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Little Hawks record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, St. Edmond moves to 12-5 on the season. The Gaels host Webster City (Webster City, IA) to meet the Lynx in a non-league match on Monday, June 17.
