Iowa High School Baseball - Okoboji defeats North Union
June 16, 2025: Milford, IA 51351 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) and the visiting North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA), saw Okoboji's baseball team knock off North Union by a count of 11-4.
The Pioneers now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host MOC-Floyd Valley for a Siouxland test on Tuesday, June 17. Okoboji will clash with a Dutchmen team coming off a 17-2 league win over Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA). The Dutchmen record now stands at 13-0.
With the defeat, North Union drops to 4-8 on the year. The Warriors host Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 17. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 3-8. Harris-Lake Park lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA)
