The Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 15-7 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Screaming Eagle encounter the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, June 19. Ashley will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC).
