June 17, 2025: Cedar Falls, IA 50613 Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Cedar Falls Tigers (Cedar Falls, IA), 7-6 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Ames advances its record to 15-9 on the season. The Little Cyclones travel to Indianola (Indianola, IA) to battle the Indians in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 18. The Indians come into the match with a record of 17-3. Indianola won 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA)
The Tigers now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, June 19. Cedar Falls will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 18-2.
