Iowa High School Baseball - Linn-Mar sneaks past North Polk
June 17, 2025: Alleman, IA 50007 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) and the host North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA), saw Linn-Mar's baseball team get by North Polk by a tally of 6-5.
The Lions (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 1-20 record.
With the defeat, North Polk drops to 10-8 on the year. The Comets travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 19. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 14-4.
