June 21, 2023: Des Moines, IA 50313 Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Thunder now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Nevada for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 22. Grand View Christian will battle a Cubs squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Cubs record now stands at 4-17.
With the loss, Des Moines North falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Polar bears travel to Hoover (Des Moines, IA) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 22.
