Iowa High School Softball - Assumption gets by Marshalltown
June 21, 2024: Marshalltown, IA 50158 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) and the host Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), observed Assumption's softball team get by Marshalltown by a tally of 5-4.
The Knights (15-8) will now prepare for their bout against Griswold (Griswold, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 19-1 record. In their last bout, Griswold tipped Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA), 9-6, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Pella Dutch (Pella, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 22. Marshalltown will attempt to advance on its 10-18 season record. The Dutch go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA).
