Iowa High School Softball - Durant bounces Fort Madison
June 21, 2024: Durant, IA 52747 Durant Wildcats (Durant, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 13-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linn-Mar for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 21. Durant will battle a Lions squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IA). The Lions record now stands at 13-13.
With the loss, Fort Madison falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Bloodhounds host West Delaware (Manchester, IA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 22. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 11-13. West Delaware lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA)
