June 21, 2025: West Branch, IA 52358 The Danville Bears softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host West Branch Bears to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Danville upgrades its record to 9-13 on the year. The Bears host New London (New London, IA) to play the Tigers in a SE IA Super - South game on Monday, June 23. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 1-15.
The Bears now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Liberty for a River Valley - South game on Monday, June 23. West Branch will play a Comets squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA). The Comets record now stands at 10-4.
