Iowa High School Softball - West Hancock edges Northwest Webster
June 21, 2025: Britt, IA 50423 In Saturday's non-league match, the host West Hancock Eagles softball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Northwest Webster Cougars.
The Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their match against North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Warriors go into the Top of Iowa-West match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, North Union by Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA), 4-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, June 24. Northwest Webster will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Rams go into the match with a 11-9 record after their 8-3 league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
