Iowa High School Softball - Wayne bounces Norwalk
June 21, 2025: Norwalk, IA 50211 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) and the host Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA), observed Wayne's softball team get by Norwalk by a final score of 7-2.
The Falcons (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles go into the Pride of Iowa bout with a 4-13 record. In their last bout, East Union was routed by Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA), 17-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Oskaloosa Indians (Oskaloosa, IA) in a Little Hawkeye bout, on Monday, June 23. Norwalk will attempt to better on its 22-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Creston (Creston, IA).
