Iowa High School Softball - Carlisle bounces Regina
June 23, 2023: Carlisle, IA 50047 Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 22-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Creek-Amana for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24. Carlisle will battle a Clippers squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Clippers record now stands at 15-11.
With the loss, Regina falls to 19-6 on the campaign. The Regals host Fairfield (Fairfield, IA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 12-11. Fairfield lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA)
