Iowa High School Softball - Colfax-Mingo bounces Marshalltown
June 23, 2023: Colfax, IA 50054 Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigerhawks now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Grundy Center for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24. Colfax-Mingo will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, Marshalltown falls to 5-18 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 4-14. Grundy Center lost 16-2 in their recent non-league challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
