Iowa High School Softball - Emmetsburg bounces Pocahontas
June 23, 2023: Emmetsburg, IA 50536 Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The E'Hawks now own a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they host South Central Calhoun for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. Emmetsburg will battle a Titans squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Titans record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Pocahontas falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Indians host Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26.
