Iowa High School Softball - West Burlington nudges Griswold
June 24, 2023: Griswold, IA 51535 West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wapello for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. West Burlington will face a Indians squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Indians record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Griswold falls to 21-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Essex (Essex, IA) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 3-5.
