June 24, 2024: Clarinda, IA 51632 The Clarinda Cardinals baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Kuemper Knights to 1 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.
The Cardinals now hold a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Albert for a non-league test on Tuesday, June 25. Clarinda will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-20.
With the defeat, Kuemper drops to 10-13 on the year. The Knights travel to Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 25. The Monarchs go into the test with a record of 15-8. Denison-Schleswig won 8-2 in their recent league test against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA)
