Iowa High School Baseball - Clayton-Ridge loses to Crestwood
June 25, 2025: Cresco, IA 52136 Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), 6-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Crestwood moves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Cadets travel to Charles City (Charles City, IA) to battle the Comets in a Northeast Iowa match on Friday, June 27. The Comets come into the match with a record of 0-19. Charles City lost 18-1 in their recent league match against Waukon (Waukon, IA)
The Eagles now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turkey Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, June 26. Clayton-Ridge will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-15.
