June 25, 2025: Orange City, IA 51041 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA) and the host Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA), saw Sioux City North's baseball team beat Unity Christian by a margin of 4-2.
The Stars (18-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets enter the Missouri River challenge with a 9-23 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson by St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA), 17-4, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Unity Christian drops to 18-9 on the year. The Knights host Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to clash with the Generals in a Siouxland challenge on Wednesday, June 25. The Generals go into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost 14-5 in their recent league challenge against Okoboji (Milford, IA)
