Iowa High School Baseball - Saydel loses to Roosevelt
June 27, 2023: Des Moines, IA 50313 In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Saydel Eagles.
The Roughriders (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA). The Railsplitters go into the non-league game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, Lincoln was overwhelmed by Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA), 10-3, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (15-14) will now prepare for their game against Greene County (Jefferson, IA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 3-18 record. In their last game, Greene County tipped Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA), 11-2, in a non-league game.
