June 27, 2025: Charles City, IA 50616 The Charles City Comets baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Crestwood Cadets to 5 in the Comets league win on Friday.
The Comets now hold a 1-20 record. They take the field next when they host Crestwood for a Northeast Iowa test on Friday, June 27. Charles City will play a Cadets team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 6-12.
With the defeat, Crestwood drops to 7-13 on the year. The Cadets travel to Charles City (Charles City, IA) to play the Comets in a Northeast Iowa test on Friday, June 27. The Comets go into the test with a record of 0-19.
