Iowa High School Baseball - Kuemper defeats Atlantic
June 28, 2024: Carroll, IA 51401 The Kuemper Knights baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Atlantic Trojans to 4 in the Knights league win on Friday.
The Knights now own a 12-15 record. They take the field next when they host Carroll for a non-league test on Friday, June 28. Kuemper will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
With the defeat, Atlantic drops to 1-18 on the year. The Trojans host St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, July 1. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 9-22. St. Albert won 10-7 in their recent non-league test against Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA)
