June 28, 2025: Grundy Center, IA 50638 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Pella Dutch softball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Grundy Center Spartans.
The Dutch (18-10) will now prepare for their match against Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA). The Mustangs go into the Little Hawkeye match with a 24-3 record. In their last match, Dallas Center-Grimes tipped Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA), 8-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, June 30. Grundy Center will attempt to better on its 17-9 season record. The Comets go into the match with a 12-13 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA).
