Iowa High School Baseball - Columbus loses to Dike-New Hartford
June 30, 2025: Dike, IA 50624 Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 11-1 in a league battle.
The Wolverines (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors enter the North Iowa Cedar - Central battle with a 10-17 record. In their last battle, Columbus prevailed over Hudson (Hudson, IA), 10-5, in a league battle.
Next, the Sailors face the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - Central battle, on Monday, June 30. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-19 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 13-2 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Jesup (Jesup, IA).
