July 1, 2024: Solon, IA 52333 In Monday's non-league test, the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Spartans meet the Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) in a non-league test, on Friday, July 5. Solon will attempt to advance on its 14-20 season record.
The Raiders (8-17) will now prepare for their test against Hempstead (Dubuque, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Hempstead was routed by Linn-Mar (Marion, IA), 6-5, in a non-league test.
