Iowa High School Softball - Central City bounces Nashua-Plainfield
July 2, 2024: Central City, IA 52214 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA) and the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA), observed Central City's softball team get by Nashua-Plainfield by a tally of 7-0.
The Wildcats (26-13) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the non-league bout with a 2-29 record. In their last bout, Clinton was routed by Davenport West (Davenport, IA), 12-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, July 8. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to advance on its 5-25 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 12-16 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Crestwood (Cresco, IA).
