Iowa High School Baseball - Gladbrook-Reinbeck holds off AGWSR
July 2, 2025: Ackley, IA 50601 The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) and the host AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), saw Gladbrook-Reinbeck's baseball team gain a win over AGWSR by a tally of 6-2.
The Rebels (8-19) will now prepare for their battle against Union (La Porte City, IA). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Union held off Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA), 8-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars face the BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, July 2. AGWSR will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 6-4 league loss to North Tama (Traer, IA).
