Iowa High School Baseball - Bedford nips Riverside
July 5, 2025: Bedford, IA 50833 The Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, IA) baseball got by the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 23-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Ayr for a Pride of Iowa challenge on Tuesday, July 8. Bedford will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 16-4.
With the defeat, Riverside drops to 4-17 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Monday, July 7. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Ar-We-Va lost 7-0 in their recent league challenge against CAM (Anita, IA)
