Iowa High School Baseball - Southwest Valley sneaks past Stanton
July 6, 2024: Corning, IA 50841 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) and the visiting Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA), saw Southwest Valley's baseball team get by Stanton by a tally of 6-5.
The (10-15) will now prepare for their battle against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles enter the Pride of Iowa battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, East Union held off Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
