Iowa High School Baseball - Algona wallops Charles City
July 11, 2025: Algona, IA 50511 The Algona Bulldogs baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Charles City Comets to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 23-8 record. They take the field next when they host Humboldt for a North Central test on Monday, July 14. Algona will play a Wildcats team coming off a 5-4 league win over Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 26-6.
With the defeat, Charles City drops to 1-27 on the year.
