Our young team was nervous and excited to play in their opening event of the 2025 season! Though we drew the eventual tournament winner in the first round of pool play - the WFBA Lady Conquerors A team - our girls worked through their first-game jitters, as well as the withering serving and hitting game of their opposition, to come out with a respectable double-digit score in both sets. 7th grader Paisley Kudrna came out firing with her serve in the first set, going on a 7 point run with 3 aces to get us back in the game and give the Lady Conquerors a taste of their own medicine!
