Georgia High School Softball - Cook bounces Seminole County
August 5, 2023: Adel, GA 31620 Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colquitt County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 9. Cook will face a Packers squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA). The Packers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Seminole County falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Miller County (Colquitt, GA) to face the Pirates in a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge on Wednesday, August 9. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Miller County lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
