In Tuesday's non-league test, the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) softball squad the visiting Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), by a tally of 5-1.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 7. Gilmer will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
