Georgia High School Softball - Kennesaw Mountain drops to Etowah
August 6, 2024: Woodstock, GA 30189 Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), 9-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Etowah improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles host North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to play the Warriors in a 6A Region 5 game on Thursday, August 8. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 3-0. North Cobb won 7-3 in their recent league game against Walton (Marietta, GA)
The Mustangs now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lovett for a non-league game on Thursday, August 8. Kennesaw Mountain will play a Lions squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
