August 7, 2024: Watkinsville, GA 30677 The Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) softball nipped the visiting Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Warriors now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Social Circle for a non-league outing on Monday, August 12. Oconee County will encounter a Redskins team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Apalachee moves to 0-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 8.
