August 7, 2024: Valdosta, GA 31601 The Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) softball routed the visiting Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 7-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston County for a non-league outing on Friday, August 9. Lowndes will encounter a Bears team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Ola (McDonough, GA). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Berrien moves to 1-1 on the season. The Rebels host Irwin County (Ocilla, GA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Monday, August 12. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Irwin County won 7-2 in their recent non-league outing against Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA)
