August 7, 2025: Baxley, GA 31513 Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Appling County advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates host Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Pirates now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Savannah Arts Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 12.
