August 7, 2025: Poplarville, MS 39470 Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Harrison Central advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Red Rebels travel to Gautier (Gautier, MS) to face the Gators in a non-league test on Saturday, August 9. The Gators go into the test with a record of 1-2. Gautier lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS)
The Hornets now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearl River Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. Poplarville will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Stone (Wiggins, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.
