In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting South Paulding Spartans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Rome Wolves.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Carrollton was nudged by Northgate (Newnan, GA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 12. Rome will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Praise Academy (Powder Springs, GA).
