Georgia High School Softball - McIntosh County Academy bounces Calvary Day
August 8, 2022: Savannah, GA 31404 McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Buccaneers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bradwell Institute for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 10. McIntosh County Academy will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Calvary Day falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to face the Panthers in a challenge on Monday, August 22. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
