August 8, 2024: Woodstock, GA 30188 The Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) softball routed the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 9-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Wolves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 13. Buford will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, River Ridge moves to 0-2 on the season. The Knights host Cambridge (Milton, GA) to encounter the Bears in a non-league outing on Monday, August 12. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Cambridge won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lassiter (Marietta, GA)
