August 9, 2022: Canton, GA 30115 Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Chiefs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pope for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 15.
With the loss, Kell falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Longhorns host North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
