August 9, 2025: Harlem, GA 30814 The South Effingham Mustangs softball squad (Guyton, GA), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Harlem Bulldogs (Harlem, GA)
With the victory, Harlem betters its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Grovetown (Grovetown, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 14. South Effingham will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wolfpack enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA).
