Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), 12-8 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Briarwood Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Glascock County (Gibson, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 12.
