August 9, 2025: Wrightsville, GA 31096 Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), 7-3 in a non-league contest.
With the triumph, Johnson County improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Harlem (Harlem, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 9. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
The Golden Hawks now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Georgia Military College for a non-league contest on Monday, August 11. Washington County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
