Mississippi High School Volleyball - Resurrection Catholic can't get by St. Patrick
August 9, 2025: Biloxi, MS 39532 St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Resurrection Catholic Eagles (Pascagoula, MS), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Patrick advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Picayune (Picayune, MS) to face the Maroon Tide in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 12. The Maroon Tide come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Picayune lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Biloxi (Biloxi, MS)
Next, the Eagles play the Gautier Gators (Gautier, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 12. Resurrection Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Stone (Wiggins, MS).
