Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) and the visiting Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), observed Union's volleyball team top Stringer by a tally of 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Northeast Lauderdale was defeated by Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
