The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Texas Christian for a non-league test on Friday, August 12. Trinity Christian will confront a Lions team coming off a 1-1 non-league Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Dallas Lutheran (Dallas, TX). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
