Next up, the Red Elephants battle the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a contest, on Tuesday, August 15. Gainesville will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
With the loss, Lumpkin County moves to 0-1 on the year. The Indians host Banks County (Homer, GA) to battle the Leopards in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 17. The Leopards go into the contest with a record of 4-0.
