Georgia High School Softball - Jeff Davis bounces Coffee
August 10, 2023: Hazlehurst, GA 31539 Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vidalia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 15.
With the loss, Coffee falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Tift County (Tifton, GA) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 14. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Tift County won 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA)
