Mississippi High School Volleyball - Murrah crushed by Germantown
August 10, 2023: Madison, MS 39110 The Germantown Mavericks topped the visiting Murrah Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Mavericks now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tupelo for a non-league test on Friday, August 11. Germantown will confront a Golden Wave team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Golden Wave record now stands at 3-0.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Lanier (Jackson, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Lanier gained a win over Canton (Canton, MS), 3-1, in a non-league test.
